What is a Preferred Payment Method?
Your Preferred Payment Method is the card or bank account we have on file for processing flight purchases, scheduled payments, and other authorized charges. This method is established during your initial registration, but can be updated later. To view your current Preferred Payment Method, please visit the “manage trip” page within your MyTFT portal.
TFT will never charge the payment method on file without prior authorization or advance notice.
Need to Change your Preferred Payment Method?
Use our secure form to authorize a new payment method. Simply select whether you want to authorize a checking or savings account (ACH), or a debit or credit card. In the ‘I’m paying for my’ section, select “$1 to tokenize an account to update my Preferred Payment Method‘. Our finance team will charge this authorized payment method $1.00 (which goes toward tuition!), update your account, and send a confirmation by email once it is complete.
Authorize a Card
All payments made by credit or debit cards incur a 4% processing fee. TFT does not accept American Express.
Authorize a Bank Account
Payments made by ACH, also known as an e-check, from your checking or savings account do not incur any additional fees. However, it is possible your bank charges for this service. You must provide the full routing and account number. Please note that ACH transactions are for US bank accounts only. If you live outside of the US, click here to view payment options.
