What type of accommodations will we be staying in during the trip?
We prioritize an immersive experience with an extended stay on a remote, dedicated island, which means we avoid large mainland hotels. Our accommodations are right on the beach, offering direct access to the water and a true sense of island living.

What is the food like in Belize?
Belizean food is a delicious blend of Caribbean, Maya, and Mestizo flavors. Teens love the simple, comforting staples like rice and beans (often cooked in coconut milk), fresh seafood (especially on the cayes), and the local favorite, stew chicken. We also encourage trying authentic Garifuna dishes, like hudut (fish cooked in a coconut broth), and, of course, locally-made chocolate from a bean-to-bar tour!

How much time is spent on the island versus the mainland?
The majority of the trip focuses on the unparalleled island experience. We strategically allocate time to maximize marine adventures, diving, and snorkeling. While we dedicate time at the start or end of the trip to explore the mainland’s unique cultural sites – the bulk of your adventure is spent on the island.
