"Hi Ned, One week ago today, we had landed back in Durham following a fantastic few days in NYC directed by TFT. We hoped that the trip would be good for all involved, but never imagined how maeaningful and fun the trip could possibly be for the group! Fritz put together an itinerary that perfectly suited our seniors. I am in awe at the things he was able to make happen for us including skipping the two-hour wait to order 5 Grimaldi’s pizzas for 16 starving students, getting tickets to Upright Citizen’s Brigade Comedy Show for Friday night featuring Bobby Moynihan and Zack Woods, impressive orchestra seats to the mesmerizing “Wicked” and convincing security at the Top of the Rock that we should be allowed entrance even though we arrived 10 minutes after closing. He is good! His partner in crime, Max, did a great job relating to the kids and being a ton of fun along the way. Did you know that he is an accomplished pianist? Both Philip and Maria, our graduation student speakers spoke of the trip while at the podium on Friday and I also used highlights of the trip in my address to the seniors at our Senior Banquet the evening before graduation. So…thank you for making this happen for Trinity! I am hoping to plan a small trip for the rising seniors in May given the success of this trip. Philadelphia comes to mind and would be easy for you all. In addition, I want to pursue organizing a summer trip to Europe for 2011 for Trinity students. Let’s talk about this when you have a minute."
"We have been using Travel for Teens for years. We alternate between France and Spain. This year we are going to Paris, Nice, Monaco etc… Last year was Madrid, Palma and Barcelona. This is my 4th trip with them. A French native, I have been teaching French and Spanish at GA for 31 years. Each experience has been terrific and has actually changed the life of a couple of students who came back from the trip more confident, mature and with a different outlook on life. We have been extremely satisfied every year and are already organizing next year trip to Spain."
"Beau had a stellar experience with Travel for Teens over the summer. I was impressed with every aspect of the trip, most especially Ned Clark & the counselors because they personally shaped the trip … Beau felt what he learned and experienced was extremely eye-opening. "This past summer I had the opportunity to travel to Spain with our students. My personal experience was just so enjoyable and fulfilling. The three young men who traveled with us to Spain did an outstanding job. They were very organized and made sure we all were well taken care of. Our trip to Spain was a truly unforgettable one, and we definitely have you, Phil, and Isaac to thank for that. Your patience and kindness with us was unbelievably astounding and please know that it was greatly appreciated. I was expecting a typical strict Villa trip with limited time for fun, but I was so pleasantly surprised thanks to you guys and your upbeat personalities. I had a blast and am so thankful to have met three of the best trip leaders there is. I know I can speak for everyone else when I say that we already miss it soooo much. This sounds so cliche, but every single day so far in school has been spent reminiscing about “Espana” and it’s literally all we can think about. We especially say how much we miss you, Isaac, and Phil and trying to explain how great you guys were to our other friends doesn’t even do it justice. It really made a difference to have someone like you leading us around Spain. I feel like we saw all the important things, ate at the best places (kabobs!!!!), and had a real cultural experience because you knew what you were doing, you were organized, and most importantly so much fun! You guys have a tough job dealing with 23 teenage girls in a foreign country yet you did it effortlessly and with a smile on your face. You thanked us for never complaining, but we should really be thanking you for never giving us a reason to. I truly had the time of my life and wanted you to know that it wouldn’t have been possible without TFT. This experience has definitely sparked an interest in me to travel as much as possible, just like you guys always tell us to. I hope everywhere I travel to in the future is as memorable and painless as our trip. My week in Spain will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss it so much (we are already talking about having an Espana11 reunion pool party at my house haha).
