"I can only imagine the emotions that were flying before the kids actually flew! Teenaged “extra” on top of all of the real and lasting and TripOfALifetime feelings that go with such an experience. Penelope heard about TFT through an acquaintance in high school, and from that moment onwards decided that this trip was for her. She worked her job as a waitress to pay for part of the trip. From the start, she did not want to go with a friend - she wanted to go with strangers, meet people and have her “own” adventure. So I’ve been enjoying her adventure vicariously and it has been wonderful. My mom-side thanks you both for the photos and updates - just enough to be able to follow along a bit, but to keep the experience hers alone, and leave it for her to tell the details. I cannot say enough how great TFT has been. Thank you both!! I have a feeling that, the second she lands, Penelope will be planning next summer’s TFT adventure."

"Just wow! We have used another group, but the rigor of the process and operations here was excellent. Daniel loved the service work, scuba class, swimming with manta rays, and the counselors were amazing. He can't stop talking about what a great experience it was. The kids bonded and had so much fun. The leaders were amazing, extremely positive, full of energy and seemed to really care that the kids had a meaningful experience. We've heard next to nothing from Emily about what she's doing except every once in a while we'll get a quick text in all caps that says "I SWAM WITH A TURTLE!" so the combination of hearing little as well as the "all caps" lets us know she's having an amazing time. We really appreciate the highs combined with some downtime. She works really hard during the school year and she deserves a break so she's happy to serve, but also happy for the beach time.
