"On my TFT trip, I had the most amazing time. Not only did I get to explore a few cool cities, but I was supported by the best staff. I instantly became extremely close friends with the other kids on TFT trip. Everyone who went was so nice, and within minutes after my arrival in San Diego, any nervous energy I felt had been let go. Over those two weeks, I learned how to be independent, and trust myself as well as how to rely on other kids my age. I loved swimming in the Pacific Ocean. I had so many favorite parts that I can't choose one. We stayed at this incredibly beautiful mountainside lodge in Lake Tahoe, it was so nice. The last night of my trip was really fun. All the kids stayed up together and talked about how much we would miss each other. Two years later, I hung out with a few of my friends from the trip a month ago. Go on a TFT trip, it's an adventure that you'd be crazy to miss. The connections you will make can last a lifetime."

"I picked this trip over my senior trip with my graduating class, and it was the best decision ever. This was the best trip of my life! The group and the staff were amazing, everybody got along super well. It was the hardest trip to fall back into reality from; I never wanted it to end."

"As I entered my summer after graduating high school and before starting college, I wanted to do something that created lifelong memories and allowed me to explore a new part of the world I’d never been to; TFT’s Greece Island Hopping for Older Teens did just that. I was thankful that TFT offered a program specifically for kids finishing 11th and 12th grade, because I wanted to be surrounded by other people my age, with similar experiences and interests as me. This program was the perfect way for me to explore the gorgeous beaches of Paros and Naxos, and also immerse myself in the greek culture through sampling different foods, and speaking with locals. Greece has so many unique and historical sights to offer, and this trip gave me the chance to see it all; the famous Acropolis in Athens, the postcard-like blue domed buildings of Santorini, the ancient grecian island Delos, and more. I could not have asked for a better trip to send me off into the new chapter of my life!"

"The chance to experience all these beautiful places with great friends and counselors is so unique. I am grateful to have discovered Travel For Teens after graduating high school. It was my dream as a senior to go abroad and this trip answered all my prayers. Thank you so much for helping me step outside my comfort zone and get to see parts of the world I had only dreamed of, if only for two weeks! At first it can seem a little unusual, but once you start talking to other people in the group, you realize they are just like you. You start to make connections that form on their own because you see there are other teens who share your interests and help you adjust. The staff know just what to do and where to go. It was the time of my life, I loved it and feel inspired by the wonderful gift of traveling with TFT."

"My trip with Travel For Teens was one I’ll remember for my entire life. The people I meet and the places I saw were ones that will stay with me my entire life. From seeing the city of Amsterdam while floating down the canals to canyoning through the Swiss Alps, we saw beautiful sights in adventurous and fun ways. We strolled the streets of Venice and engaged ourselves in the Italian cuisine, and in Germany explored the Bavarian alps while bike riding. The program and counselors were supportive and knew what they were doing, and always made sure we were having fun and always in a good mood."

"My trip to Australia and New Zealand with Travel For Teens has changed my perspective on traveling, I was not just a tourist when I visited these foreign countries but became extremely immersed in their culture, through experiences such as watching a ritualistic haka in New Zealand to camping in the Australian outback with locals. I felt at home in these countries and not out of place, which sometimes can happen when traveling. We stayed in hostels, not big chain hotels, and got to meet so many locals that we could learn a lot from, such as where the best traditional places to eat were and where we should shop or visit if we had any free time (which luckily was not often because we always had some fun activity planned). Overall, I honestly had the time of my life on this trip and it really opened my eyes to truly experiencing different cultures, after I even told my mom that this trip has showed me that I want-NEED to continue traveling to different parts of the world for the rest of my life."

"Visiting the West Coast and Canada was one of the best decisions of my life hands down. The National Parks were incredible sights to see. Rock climbing in Utah was the scariest adventure of my life, but so rewarding. I loved white water rafting and Alcatraz had the best audio tour I’ve ever heard. Camping out underneath the stars in Utah and Colorado was beautiful and I cannot imagine having a better experience. I loved the friends I made on the trip and my trip leaders were well equipped for all situations we experienced and amazing people in general. I can’t wait to travel with TFT again!"

"Travel For Teens totally changed my life. TFT not only helped me become more independent, but it’s also helped me make life long friends. The overall experience was one of a kind, and it is one that I will never forget. The counselors were amazing and they made the trip so much more fun and relaxing. The trip was very organized which helped my family always know what I was doing, and by having a schedule as a group we were able to see so much more. I totally recommend taking a trip with TFT!"

"I went to Iceland and had an amazing experience!! From visiting beautiful waterfalls to playing soccer with locals, the trip was action packed. A few of my favorite memories are horseback riding under the midnight sun and snorkeling between the tectonic plates. The fourth of July happened to fall while we were abroad and our group celebrated by going to a nearby waterfall, eating cake and playing frisbee. Everyone on the trip became super close, which made the vibe even better!! My counselors were great and always looking out for our best interest. I highly recommend this trip if you're looking to see some extraordinary views and immerse yourself in a new culture."

Kendra Brooks

"This trip was amazing!!! It was my first trip abroad alone without my family and I absolutely loved it!! TFT handled everything so well and made sure every teen was included. The counselors also made sure everyone was always having fun and that there was always a positive atmosphere. They took care of everything so well, one teen even had his suitcase left in the US by the airline and they made sure that he got his bag as soon as possible. TFT also had all of the best activities and excursions that I wouldn’t have been able to find if I planned the trip myself. I cannot say enough good things about TFT and I can’t wait for my next trip with them this summer!!!"

"I was lucky enough to travel to Iceland with TFT the first summer they ran the program, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Traveling the ring road of Iceland proved to be the best way to see all of Iceland and what it has to offer. Though I was unable to pronounce half of the places we visited, it was extremely special to travel to small towns like Seydisfjordur and Stykkisholmur that most tourists to Iceland don’t get to see. Iceland is a truly unique and special country, and this trip provided me with the opportunity to see all of the famous, breathtaking waterfalls, while also allowing me to kayak in the fjords, from a town of less than 500 people. Whether it was hiking on glaciers or swimming in between continental plates in the Silfra fissure, this trip never failed to amaze me."

Lindsay P. Chicago, IL

"Iceland is such a beautiful country, it was almost like another world. This trip was action packed and we got to see a lot of what this gorgeous country has to offer. We got to drive around the entire ring road, which not even a lot of locals have done. It was always exciting to see the changing scenery day after day. From its spectacular waterfalls, to its glistening glaciers and toasty hot springs, Iceland has something for everyone! I enjoyed every day while on the trip and every activity we did was exhilarating. Iceland is defiantly a one of a kind country and I recommend everyone to visit it at least once in their life!"

Colleen Mulligan

"I went on Greece: Athens and the Islands this past summer and had a BLAST! The scenery was gorgeous, the weather was beautiful, the activities were super fun, and everyone on the trip was so nice. I would 101% recommend this trip to anyone!"

"I have been on four TFT trips now, and my passion for the company and what TFT has to offer would not have been possible had I not gathered the courage to travel overseas alone for the first time. My expectations for this trip were exceeded beyond imagination; these three cities are each highlights of Eastern Europe and each offer their own unique culture that I was lucky enough to explore. Aside from the delicious trdelníks in Prague (a must have dessert if you’re there), I met friends on this trip and made connections with people I still keep in touch with to this day, almost 5 summers later. This program is extra special to me as it is what got me hooked on TFT, and it was the perfect introduction to the experience of being a traveler, not a tourist."

"Before I went on this trip I knew nothing about Croatia. I was mainly going on this trip cause the idea of spending a week on a boat island hopping sounded nice and relaxing. It most certainly was but Croatia has so much more to offer than that. Every island offered something new and unique. I never thought I'd be in a Cold War nuclear bunker on the same island they filmed Mama Mia two at yet there I was. The islands are just beautiful and offer the best of Eastern European culture. Additionally, if you are a Game of Thrones fan this trip is a must for you. Not a lot of people can say they have spent the night in King's Landing and this trip gives you the opportunity to say that. If relaxing on a boat and island hopping in a beautiful country sounds nice to you, then go on this trip."
