Greetings TFT Family! If you are joining us for another year, welcome back! If you are new to the fold, welcome! We are so grateful you’re here. We have hit the ground running in preparation for Winter and Summer 2023 and are ready to help you be prepared as well!

You can expect a monthly update shared during the first full week of the month from November until June 2023.

The goal of our monthly updates is to present to you key information relevant to the time of the year and a centralized place for general information that will help you and your teen prepare for their program.

General Deadlines

You may be wondering when certain items are due. Unless you are taking advantage of the Pay in Full discount, your final payment is due by April 1st, 2023. You can pay it all at once by that date or in installments throughout the year, it’s up to you!

At this time, no paperwork is due, but once we are ready, we will send out the packet with a two-week deadline to return it. This allows each family to be set within a few weeks of registering, and gives us access to essential items such as passports so we can finalize reservations.

We do not have a deadline for flights at this time, however, once the paths are set they are priced live, so we recommend not to delay!

If you are unsure of your deadlines, you can sign into your MyTFT account and view the dashboard under ‘Your Due Dates and Preparations Progress’.

Fall Promotions

This is the time of year we offer our biggest promotions! By signing up, you have already taken advantage of our Early Bird Discounts. Get an additional 5% off if you’d like to pay in full now, it’s not too late! Does your teen have a brother, sister, or another family member that wants to travel too? They would automatically be eligible for 5% off their tuition. In addition, all returning travelers receive 5% off tuition.

Winter Break Programs

Wondering what your teen will do in that stretch between the December holidays and the New Year? Check out our Winter Programs! This is our third year offering trips during winter break, and we have more options than ever! Ski in the Alps, explore classic European cities, chase the northern lights in Iceland, or escape the cold altogether in tropical Costa Rica! Whichever your teen chooses will be an unforgettable way to bring in the new year!

TFT Brand Ambassador program

Want to become more involved with TFT? We are currently looking for new members to serve as brand ambassadors and join the “TFT Crew!” Crew members represent TFT and are responsible for sharing their love of travel with friends, family, school, community, and beyond!

Crew are a valuable part of the TFT family and will gain special skill sets as well as rewards for their hard work.

Benefits for Crew members:

Experience in marketing, networking, team building, and leadership to add to resumes and college applications
Special consideration for a future position as a CIT (Counselor In Training) or Junior Counselor
Opportunities for social media takeovers, involvement with TFT’s TikTok and guest blogging

What's Next?

Program Flight Paths

Each year, the Operations Team takes this time to plot out flight paths for our summer programs. For some programs there will be a designated group flight, others will have flight arrival windows. The majority of our flight paths will be announced within the first week of November, and you will be able to book your flight at that time. All flight paths are expected to be finalized by the end of November.

If your teen is on a winter program, the flight paths are set! You can fill out a Flight Survey to get started with the booking process. If you resigned up for a summer program, please do not fill out the survey at this time.

We encourage all families, new or returning, to schedule a “Welcome Call” with a member of our Operations Team. We are here to help!
