Raised in northern California, Tom earned his degree in Hospitality Management from Sacramento State with ambitions to explore the wonders of the globe and its cultures. Tom now spends most of his time living abroad – he’s called many places home including Puerto Rico, South Africa, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Fiji. His passion for travel and experience working in luxury hotels and safari lodges brought him to TFT. As a white water rafting guide, Tom seeks out the rivers in every country he visits and is a great counselor to have on raft trips. Tom lives by the saying “if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.”
