Nainoa was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii and has spent most of his life near or in the ocean. Having a passion for photography and travel from a young age, he has traveled to over 40+ countries many alone as a teenager. Graduating early and hitting the road at 17 years old, he has not stopped traveling since. Now he gets to combine his passion for photography and travel for a living, working between Maui and San Francisco primarily as a freelance photographer and creative marketer. When he is not working or planning his next trip he’s got his camera in hand, surfing, freediving, or working out. After seeing how impactful and formative teen travel was for him, he is so excited to share his passion to help younger generation teens get out and explore the world!
