Mónica is a Panamanian native who grew up in Costa Rica on the campus of an international university, where she was surrounded by people from countries around the world. Her unique upbringing sparked an interest in exploring the world at a young age. She attended college at Lindenwood University in Missouri where she graduated with a dual degree in Non-Profit Management and International Relations. Upon graduation, she moved to Tanzania to work with an American Nonprofit – here she became acquainted with TFT after organizing a school trip with us! When she’s not traveling, you can find her buried in books.
