Mela Bonilla

Counselor

Mela is originally from Ecuador and spent part of her childhood living in the United States, an experience that sparked her love for language, culture, and travel. She has explored much of Latin America and Europe, including Panama, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Spain, France, and Italy. Mela currently works with middle and high school students as a dedicated Language Arts teacher and loves combining her passion for education with meaningful cultural experiences. Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling, working with kids, and expressing her creativity through makeup artistry and social media. She’s also a proud dog mom to an energetic dachshund puppy named, Moka.
