Lara Weaver

Senior Counselor

Raised in upstate New York by two Spanish teachers, Lara was born into a multicultural atmosphere and developed a passion for learning languages and exploring their cultures at an early age. At age 16, she moved to Spain to finish high school and went on to earn her degree in Translation and Interpreting from Cordoba. Later, she earned her Master’s in Conference Interpretation from Tenerife. Since, she’s traveled extensively throughout Europe and worked as a volunteer interpreter and English teacher. Lara believes deeply in the intrinsic value of travel and its ability to help people develop a positive sense of self and an open mind. When she’s not jumping on trains and checking cities and food of her bucket list, Lara can be found in her current home of Rome, Italy.
