Kevin Anglade
Senior Counselor
Kevin hails from the borough of Queens, New York City and considers education and working with teens his passion and life’s purpose. Formerly, a middle school teacher, Kevin taught 7th & 8th grade English Language Arts in Hartford, Connecticut through the Teach For America program. Additionally, he also coached boys basketball and created a creative writing and poetry club for talented students with interests in the humanities and arts. Kevin has traveled to many cities throughout the U.S. and has even visited Canada, Morocco, and Ghana. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in African-American Studies at Temple University and is also an instructor of undergrad courses at the college. During his spare time, Kevin enjoys reading, writing, jogging, hiking, photography and constantly being in the mode of artistic creation.
