Jamie Doran

Counselor

Jamie is an Australian (don’t hold that against him) who loves to meet new people and travel. He has visited 117 countries and all seven continents. He holds three university bachelor degrees (Environmental Science, Health Science, and Teaching). Jamie is a career firefighter, who has primarily served for the state of New South Wales, Australia, before more recently transitioning into underground mine rescue in Western Australia. He has a passion for leading and inspiring youth, and draws on both his prior teaching experience and safety experience when representing Travel for Teens. His favorite place in the world to visit is the Greek Islands, and he loves sharing this passion with others.
