Trip Itinerary

DAY 1-2: ARRIVE IN ATHENS

Explore downtown Athens on a private walking tour. Learn about the city’s rich history and navigate its winding streets and vibrant markets. Wrap up the first day with a taste of authentic Greek cuisine at a TFT favorite local restaurant.

While in Athens visit the world-renowned Acropolis and step back in time 2500 years to the height of ancient Greek Civilization. Shop for souvenirs while exploring the city’s hip neighborhoods and indulge in as much feta and gyros as you can handle! Head to the Athenian Riviera for a day at the beach!

DAYS 3-4: PAROS > ANTIPAROS*

Hit the high seas and hop on a ferry to the magical Greek Islands — first stop is stunning Paros. Paros is a hidden gem off of the typical tourist trail and offers the perfect opportunity to relax on a white sand beach and take a dip in the turquoise water without any crowds. We stay directly in the main town, complete with whitewashed buildings and winding streets overflowing with flowers.

Travelers in the know love the laid back vibe of this island and its postcard-perfect beaches. Greek cuisine is some of the most delicious in the world and you will be able to create your own dinner in our authentic hands-on Greek Cooking lesson!

DAYS 5-6: MYKONOS

Wind through the maze of whitewashed streets, and learn about the traditional Cycladic-style architecture that you will find on the islands of Greece. We’ll stroll down Matogianni, visit Panagia Paraportiani, take in the famous windmills of Mykonos, and grab a photo in front of Little Venice.

You will also have the opportunity to visit one of the most important sites of antiquity, and neighboring island to Mykonos: Delos. Held as a sanctuary to Apollo and Artemis, the island remains uninhabited to this day!

DAYS 7-8: SANTORINI

Next up on the island-hopping journey is famous Santorini!

Santorini is the most iconic Greek Island. Explore the village of Oia — one of the most photographed places on earth with its distinctive white buildings, bright blue rooftops, and antique windmills.

Our accommodation is in the quaint village of Fira with stunning ocean views and amazing sunsets. Choose to wander the quaint streets, explore the black and red sand beaches, hike along the coast, or just cool off from the summer sun at the hotel pool overlooking the ocean.

You will have the option to sign up for a sunset cruise along the Santorini caldera to take a dip in hot springs and soak up the Aegean views.

DAYS 9-10: ATHENS

Say farewell to gorgeous Santorini before boarding the return ferry to Athens. Spend your final days in Greece exploring the city, shopping in boutiques, and catching any museums you may have missed. To celebrate the conclusion of this incredible journey, indulge in a final feast with all of your new friends while reflecting on the incredible trip you just had!

Who can go on this program?

This program is open to adults ages 18-22 from around the world!

Where do we stay?

Most of our programs involve hotels which are specifically chosen to be in safe areas and well-suited to facilitating group supervision. We stay in centrally located accommodations, usually within walking distance of the main attractions. This means we do not use large, impersonal chain hotels on the outskirts of cities. We prefer to select smaller, family run hotels where we establish personal relationships with the owners. All of the hotels we use are clean, safe, and comfortable.

For safety reasons, we do not publish the names of the accommodations we use. We do not feel it is safe to publish the name of a hotel where a group of teenagers is staying abroad. After registering, participants and parents are given access to our secure parent website where you will be able to see the names of all of the accommodations for a program.
