What types of accommodations do you use?
Our two most important criteria for our accommodations are that they are safe and clean. We never take groups to accommodations that we have not stayed in before. We look for hotels in safe and central areas of town, and we tend to stay away from large, impersonal hotels on the outskirts of cities. We also take into consideration the physical layout of the accommodation to help ease our ability to supervise when we are choosing hotels for our groups.
We do our best to stay away from big hotel chains. Instead, we primarily stay in small hotels. On certain trips we do stay in hostels, guesthouses, and student residences of exceptionally high quality.
