Job Description:
Travel For Teens is seeking highly motivated college students with a strong interest in travel, social media, and marketing to join our team! You will assist our marketing department with a variety of projects. Successful candidates are reliable, creative, eager to learn, and self-motivated. This internship is fully remote and has the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
- Assist in curating photo and video content from summer trip leaders and online albums to use for social media
- Suggest ideas for and create content for daily TikTok videos
- Collaborate on monthly Instagram/Facebook content calendar for grid and story posts
- Be knowledgeable about current social media trends and brainstorm and pitch ideas for content
- Assist with writing blog content for the TFT website
- Assist in a variety of other marketing projects as they come up
Qualifications:
- Have traveled with TFT in the past
- Be able to commit to 10-15 hours a week
- Have proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Previous job or internship experience in marketing, social media, or content creation is a plus
- Experience working with Canva is a plus
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Possess superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to organize time effectively, prioritize the most urgent tasks, and work well under tight deadlines
- Be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Be able to work creatively to solve problems
- Be able to work independently and sometimes without oversight
