Alba Barroso Montoya

Counselor

Alba was born in Madrid, Spain, but has lived most of her life abroad. She’s worked in international hospitality and youth programs across the globe—from being a guest relations host in Greece, to an activity leader in Malta, to a camp counselor in the U.S. Alba is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for young travelers and loves bringing energy, empathy, and fun to every group she leads. She is currently based in Copenhagen, where she’s getting a master’s degree in Bioentrepreneurship. The first time Alba went abroad was when she moved to Peru as a little girl and has taken every chance she’s gotten since then to travel and learn about new cultures. In her free time, she loves sports, music, and going to the beach (nothing better than a beach volleyball game or relaxing with a good playlist by the sea). She also enjoys outdoors and dogs in general.
