I was impressed with every aspect of the trip, most especially Ned Clark & the counselors because they personally shaped the trip ... Beau felt what he learned and experienced was extremely eye-opening. He says he came back with a new perspective on the world and history ... He grew very fond of the counselors. Wouldn’t it be something if all children could take trips and learn in this fashion. I feel so fortunate ... Between that summer and this past summer, he is wildly excited about traveling the world and that desire is what I wanted to ignite. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
She also asked us if she could take multiple trips (England/Scotland, Germany and Paris/South of France) with TFT next summer. She also has begged us to plan some trip to Paris before then! If that is not an endorsement of your program, its hard to say what is!
...for, yet again, giving one of my children a fabulous lifetime memory. Please pass on to Damien and Ned that she thought they were the best... as well as the other counselors. Stacy had a wonderful time. Time and again, she brings up a new fact or memory of her trip. It was a perfect adventure for her, as she likes to keep pretty busy. She especially liked New Zealand and the outback in Australia. She has already informed me that she plans to take the trip to Thailand next year...

Ani still remembers how kind everyone was to her, especially Mary Anne, on the day she was not feeling well, and of course I will always remember how calm and comforting Mary Anne was to me when she called to tell me that Ani was not feeling well. ...of the wonderful time she had in South Africa with TFT, in adddition to the great photography sessions. We are also so amazed by the experiences you offered in such a short amount of time. Just a quick note of thanks to you and the travel for teens staff, especially those on the trip to Spain. Michelle had the BEST time, and she credited you guys who really knew where to go and what to do! My husband and I are so happy she had this terrific opportunity to travel and experience the history, culture and beauty of a different country. Our appreciation for making this trip so awesome for our daughter and all the kids on the trip.
Keep up the good work, she said you guys were great!
And, the daily pictures are also a great idea for the parents at home, they are not only fun to see but they also relieve any worry we might be feeling when we see those smiling faces.

From the time we got the call that our daughter, Carina, had won a trip to Cinque Terre, Italy with Travel For Teens until the time she returned home from this once in a lifetime trip, our experience with the TFT staff was wonderful. We were not familiar with TFT, as we hadn’t yet shopped for a trip like this. When we got the call Carina had won, there was, of course, a feeling of tremendous excitement for our daughter along with some apprehension on our part as parents since she had never travelled alone before and we would be sending her to Italy with a company we knew little about. The staff at TFT, as well as Carina’s teacher, who had traveled with TFT before, was so helpful reassuring us that all would be fine. They patiently answered all of our questions, no matter how small. When our daughter won this trip, we expected that TFT would send her to Italy, she would have a wonderful time and that would be it, but TFT made the experience of winning so special and exciting. Tabatha, a TFT staff member, travelled from Pennsylvania to Carina’s school in Massachusetts to present her with her award, interview her and do a photo shoot. TFT also had her featured in our local newspaper and television station, and generally made her feel like a star!
Before the trip began, what became clear to us was TFT’s emphasis on safety for all participants. Although our daughter had never travelled alone before this trip, we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we felt putting her on the plane in Boston to meet the TFT staff in New Jersey. All of the students had to wear bright green TFT shirts while travelling and were met by TFT staff also dressed in bright shirts. Throughout the trip, safety measures were always in place and reinforced. This attention to detail went far in allowing us as parents to relax and appreciate this experience for our daughter.
If we had to say what the best part of this experience was for us as parents, it would hands down be the emails and pictures sent daily by Ned the trip director. Ned and all other staff on the trip took HUNDREDS of pictures every day and emailed them to parents. We cannot adequetly express how much these pictures meant to us, and how much they reassured us that our daughter was safe and having the time of her life! We also really liked that this was a service trip that gave Carina a unique opportunity to help the local community in Cinque Terre.
We want to thank Ned, Tabatha, and all the incredible staff at TFT for giving our daughter this incredible opportunity to visit the Italian Rivera with Travel For Teens. We would confidently send her on any trip run by this organization, knowing her experience would be a tremendously rewarding one.
